![]() ![]() ![]() | IntroductionI'm setting up this website to pass on some interesting photos to freinds and people I've met who enjoy doing activities that I am involved in. I still retain the copyright on all material on these pages, but if you contact me I will send you the files for private and personal use. If you would like them for other purposes I may let you use them for a suitable fee. Most are high quality and high def quality. My WorkI write about the activities I become involved in which include ultralight and Light Sport flying, hovercraft construction and use, triking, archery, and boatbuilding. (I've also photographed several weddings of relatives and friends, but I do that just for fun!). I started writing about fifteen years ago, starting out with my experiences flying microlight aircraft (similar to ultralight or Light Sport airplanes), in England. My love of flying continued for several years after I moved to the US. My first book, Flying With Angels, was written in the US, and published in the UK by Airlife Publishing. It was about my flying experiences in the UK, flying both trikes (or flexwings, as they are know in the UK), and 3-axis (stick and rudder) airplanes. I wrote articles on flying these sort of airplanes and also homebuilt aircraft construction, for several magazines including Ultralight and Light Sport Flying and AeroSport Connection magazines in the USA, and Pacific Flyer magazine in Australia. I then rekindled an interest in building and operating leisure hovercraft and started writing about those activities and experiences for Airboating magazine. I currently build and operate my own design hovercrafts on the Platte River, NE. I also enjoy other forms of boatbuilding and kayak construction. I'm a keen engineer and can often be found working on solutions to practical problems presented to me by friends and the hovercraft construction. None of this would have happened without the love and support of my wonderfull wife, Anne, who joins in fully in my activities and adventures. She even bears the scars of the experiences. Anne and I also enjoy riding my Reverse Trike motorcycle on the local Iowa backroads. Please check out my pages and contact me if you find problems, or just want to say hello.
If you are looking for my airplane construction photos and CD books please visit www.PennilessDreamer.com I'll add more pages and photos and possibly articles as I find time, so keep coming back. If you have any questions, please contact me. |
